What this tool does
Title Case here follows a common newspaper-style rule: small words such as "of", "the", "and" and "to" stay lowercase unless they begin a sentence or end the text. If you want every word capitalised regardless, choose Capitalize Every Word. Sentence case lowercases everything and then capitalises the first letter after a full stop, question mark or exclamation mark, and the pronoun "I". The developer styles (camelCase, snake_case, kebab-case) split your text on spaces and punctuation and join the words in the format used in code.
Common problems
Names and acronyms lost their capitals
Sentence and title conversions lowercase the whole text first, so acronyms like NASA become "Nasa". Fix those by hand or with find and replace.
Title case differs from my style guide
Style guides disagree on which small words stay lowercase. Use Capitalize Every Word, then lowercase the words your guide leaves alone.
Questions
Does it work with accented letters?
Yes. Letters such as é and ü are converted with the rest.
What is toggle case?
It flips each letter's case, so uppercase letters become lowercase and the reverse.
Is there a length limit?
No fixed limit. Very large documents depend on your device's memory.
