Text Cleanup Tools › Find, extract and count
Extract URLs
List every web address found in a block of text or markup.
Processed on your device. Nothing is uploaded or stored on a server.
How it works
- Paste text or HTML containing links.
- Keep "Remove duplicates" on for a unique list.
- Copy the URLs.
Example
Docs: https://example.com/guide, mirror at http://mirror.example.org/guide. <a href="https://example.com/guide">again</a>
https://example.com/guide http://mirror.example.org/guide
What this tool does
Only addresses that start with http:// or https:// are matched, which keeps results clean and avoids guessing at bare domains. Punctuation that often follows a link in a sentence, such as a full stop or comma, is trimmed from the end. Because the HTML attribute value is found as plain text, this also works on page source, so you can paste markup and get the link targets. Relative links such as /about are not included because they do not include a domain.
Common problems
Links without http were missed
Addresses like example.com with no http or https prefix are not detected. Add the prefix first with the prefix tool.
A URL ending in a bracket is cut short
Closing brackets and quotes are treated as the end of the link. Rare addresses that contain them may be truncated.

No. It only lists text that looks like a URL.
Can it get the link text too?
No, only the addresses.
Does it work on a whole web page?
Paste the page source and it lists the absolute links in it.
